In 2011, the campsite will be open for Season Ticket holders from 10.00am on Friday 5th August and close at midday on Saturday 13 August 2011
Broadstairs Folk Week campsite is spread over two school fields which are flat and well-drained. Field A and B are connected by a path way.
It is only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The wonderful Panic Circus is also on site for the benefit of Season ticket holders and their children.
The main check-in for campers is located at Upton school where the outdoor caterers are sited as well as mobile showers and most of the portaloos. Please note that the showers are subject to variable pressure and heating. There are no electrical hook-ups on site. The campsite has a resident camp warden and external security at night.
If you’re thinking of turning up without booking for the campsite – please don’t!
Please call us on 01843 604080 to check on availability and then you can book over the phone.
We will be unable to admit unbooked late arrivals at the campsite.
Thank you for your understanding.

ONLY SEASON TICKET HOLDERS ARE PERMITTED TO CAMP
This is not limited to week long tickets. As long as you have a season ticket for the day/night you camp, you can camp on the site for upwards of 1 night.
• THERE ARE NO ANIMALS ALLOWED ON SITE.
• All under 18 year olds must be accompanied by adult Season Ticket holders on the same booking form. Unaccompanied under 18 year olds will not be admitted.
• All cooking appliances brought on site must comply with all relevant safety regulations.
• No fireworks, smoke canisters or other dangerous items.
• The campsite is a no smoking zone.
In 2010, the school hall will be available for late night sessions. The general spirit of Folk Week is one of consideration for others and locating the late nights in the hall means that the noise levels are contained. Although we appreciate some people’s need to showcase their prowess on the 3 string guitar at half-past two in the morning - unacceptable levels of noise will not be tolerated on either field. Please be aware that if we consider your behaviour is threatening the future of the festival at this site – we will ask you to leave. The campsite is not on a green field site away from everyone, it is in a residential area and we like to have happy neighbours.
Festival goers are asked to tick which field they would like to be in at the point of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
This is near the school building, the showers, the late night school hall sessions and the caterers and is likely to be the area of most activity. No cars are left on site in this field.
Furthest from late night sessions in school hall, catering etc. Parking permitted next to tent – although we prefer you to park in the designated parking area for the whole campsite which is on this field. Portaloos are available on this field. All vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
