A very big thank you!

Thank you to all of you who sang, danced, played and enjoyed the music and atmosphere of this year’s Broadstairs Folk Week. Thank you to our wonderful workforce who worked so hard to make the festival such a fantastic experience.
We couldn’t put the festival on without the support of the Friends of Folk Week, the Sponsors of the festival – Shepherd Neame, Miles & Barr Estate Agents, Stagecoach, Vattenfall, the Roger de Haan Charitable Trust, Business Computer Solutions, Broadstairs and St.Peter’s Town Council, Kent County Council Arts Investment and support in kind from Thanet District Council – keeping the streets clean during Folk Week. Thank you to all the businesses in Broadstairs who became Corporate Supporters.

Folk Week is not a business, it is a not-for-profit, registered charity and all the money raised from whatever means is ploughed back into the future festivals. So if you have thought about becoming a Friend, or joining the 200 Club or becoming a sponsor – or volunteering to join the yellow t-shirt army – please do – we start from scratch every September and Folk Week would love to return in 2019 – from 9-16 August.
