Abdelkader Saadoun

Abdelkader Saadoun, an Algerian-born master of RAI music, blends traditional Algerian and World music with genres like Pop, Flamenco, Jazz, Funk, Rock, and Blues. A composer, singer, songwriter, and educator, he plays the Algerian Mandola, percussion, and drums. Saadoun is known for leading dynamic live performances that fuse diverse musical styles.

With over 20 years of experience as a drum teacher, he has organized art and music events across the UK. Saadoun, alongside his band Takaleed, contributed to the 2023 film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and has performed for notable figures, including Queen Elizabeth II, the Amir of Qatar, and Madonna.

Saadoun has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Airto Moreira, Hossam Ramzy, Rabah Khalfa and The Master Drummers of Africa. He has also performed at major music festivals like Womad.
