Mic Spenceley has been calling dances since 1976 and remains one of the busiest callers in the country. With a wide repertoire of all types of Social Dance he calls for club nights, club dances, ceilidhs and festivals. Expect lively sessions with the emphasis on fun.
For aspiring and improving callers, Mic has produced a guide to all aspects of calling including some original dances – “The Callers Manual – the intricacies of being a Social Dance Caller”.
At Folk Week this year Mic will be calling some Lunchtime Ceilidhs as well as workshops and the annual “Jack’s Night” dance session.
