Pip Ives has been playing Anglo concertina since he was eight and melodeon since he was 10. From then his musical career has taken him in many different directions and led him to study Folk music as the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2006.
Pip now plays (and sings!) at ceilidhs with Swing the Bridge and solo in pub sessions, festivals, and Folk clubs throughout this country and abroad. He is also an experienced Morris dancer currently with Bower Street Morris based in Margate
