The Hot Rats

Doug Hudson formed the Hot Rats in 1992 to back him in a one man show in Chatham. Since then they have become a band in their own right, recording albums and playing at UK festivals and abroad. Doug has performed on the London Comedy Circuit and in the Gulf, Africa and the Far East. During the 70s and 80s, he was half of the acclaimed folk duo, Tundra. He is the PA announcer for Gillingham Football Club and still performs his One Man Show to great acclaim and audiences crying with laughter.

He appeared in and played the music for the classic 1973 horror film The Wicker Man .As well as The Hot Rats, he now tours once a year with the re-formed Bully Wee Band, Feast of Fiddles and works occasionally with Dave Cousins of The Strawbs.

Scott Kirk started playing Blues guitar in Portugal in the early 90’s. He played lead guitar in the psychedelic rock band ‘Corydoras’ and Bass guitar in the punk trio ‘Three Fried Minds’ and then went on to perform with Davey Slater in ‘Sevenscore’, in Ska Rock band ‘Beggars Belief’ and the World Folk group ‘The Bubbleband’ at numerous venues and festivals.
