Come and dance your socks off to Relentless, a ceilidh band blurring the line between traditional and contemporary dance music. Unceasing in enthusiasm, musical adrenaline and fun they inject as much of their personal energy into the music as they create by bouncing off each other’s strong musical abilities to create mesmerising sounds and sights.
Relentless were put together back in the mid-2010s when multi folk award nominee Will Pound was asked to get a ceilidh band together for Bromyard Folk Festival. With no preparation or planning the band he assembled played some absolute ‘belting tunage’ with tight arrangements and build ups giving the packed dance floor the impression they had been playing as a band for years. This led to many other festival bookings up and down the country in the years that followed. At present the line-up consisting of the talented twin fiddles of Rosie Butler-Hall & Manny Grimsley, mixed with the driving rhythmic backbone of Nick Haynes (Cajon) & Dan Bones (guitar/bass) with Will on melodeon & harmonicas are back in full swing, providing energy, enthusiasm & stage presence to Folk Week.
