In 2016, they won the BBC Folk Award for Best Original Track with music from Already Home (2015), a record recorded in rural Wales and praised for its craftsmanship and emotional resonance.
Raised in the musically vibrant Peak District, Rowan and Anna grew up in a folk-influenced home and later pursued formal musical studies in Scandinavia and France.
