The festival campsite is located at Dane Court School, Broadstairs Road CT10 2RT, on one level well-drained field. In order to camp, you must have a valid Festival Ticket for the nights you are on-site.

The fields are marked out with wide aisles and plenty of space. The amenities on site include outside portable toilets and showers and the site is managed by Folk Week volunteers and professional security. There will is strictly no parking on the field – no cars are allowed to be parked next to tents.

Cars must be parked in the nearby car park after unloading but the car park is next to the field. There are no electrical hook-ups on-site.

The Festival Campsite is for everyone who is involved at the heart of Folk Week – Festival Ticket holders, morris sides, musicians and workforce.

Camping on the Festival site is ONLY available with a Festival Ticket.

On site facilities

The campsite will be open for Festival Ticket holders from 10.00am on Friday 9th August and close at midday on Saturday 17th August

Outdoor Showers and toilet facilities. Plus indoors disabled toilet

On-site catering for breakfasts, snacks and hot drinks

The Creative Tent. A space for the younger folkie to make something wonderful! Sessions daily

On-site festival team of Check-In, Campsite Wardens and professional security

Campsite booking

We don’t sell camping spaces without Festival Tickets, so everyone who wants to camp must be a Festival Ticket holder. You can camp for just one night, a couple of midweek nights – or a weekend – or a full week – just let us know what combination you would like.
