Folk Week is a registered charity and not-for-profit. The festival generates around £2.3 million pounds into the local economy, but every year is an uphill struggle to raise the funds to put back into the following year. PLEASE support us – there’s loads of ways…

These people in the yellow workforce t-shirts that you see around the festival are working very hard to make sure Folk Week happens – it wouldn’t without them.
