Discover the timeless craft of tin embossing — also known as metal tooling, repoussé, or chasing — in this hands-on creative workshop with celebrated British artist and author Clare Youngs. Using simple hand tools, participants will learn how to press and carve beautiful raised designs into thin sheets of malleable metal, creating tactile decorative pieces inspired by folk art traditions. Clare’s distinctive aesthetic blends mid-century design, vintage print culture, and handcrafted storytelling, making this workshop both accessible and inspiring for beginners and experienced makers alike. Each participant will receive a beautifully packaged take-home kit including:
- Metal embossing sheets
- A set of 3 embossing tools
- Design templates
The tools are yours to keep, allowing you to continue exploring the craft long after the workshop ends.
