Folk Week is Crowdfunding - Invest in your Summer!

After the challenges of the last couple of years, and the adaptations to the festival format in 2021 and 2022, we are thrilled to have come through them and are now we’re looking forward to 2023 and beyond. We hope you can help us achieve our goal of creating a great Folk Week in Broadstairs. Please make a pledge – it will stay a pledge until we meet our target – and if we don’t, your money will come straight back to you. This campaign gives us the opportunity to unlock funds from Kent County Council too– so if you love Folk Week and it’s an unmissable part of your summer- please pledge!

I had a lovely day visit today. I got to see Morris dancing, watch a bit of hobby horse club, buy some pin badges, buy a drink in the Charlie D and take a paddle in the sea. I was having so much fun I forgot to take any photos. Thank you for providing such a wonderful festival x
Hear hear! Whoever said that all pubs were now charging didn’t check their facts! We had a lovely time last night - great atmosphere, lovely crafts and many local which was nice, and lots of free walk in gigs at usual pubs etc… Well done to all the Team you are doing a great job!
It's been a wonderful Festival so far - the vibe in Broadstairs is very special after the last couple of years. Our extended family members have travelled from Brighton and Dorking (as well as Margate) to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere. And the Spookies - brilliant as always!
When does folk week finish? We came yesterday and my daughter loved it and so we want to come again.
