Barb Jungr
Barb Jungr brings her internationally acclaimed interpretations of the songs of Bob Dylan to the stage in a show that has earned widespread critical praise. A three-time winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Jungr is recognised as one of the foremost interpreters of song in the UK and beyond, celebrated for her ability to uncover new emotional and lyrical depths in classic material.
Her landmark Dylan album Every Grain of Sand was named “Album of the Year” by The Times and hailed by critics as one of the finest Dylan reinterpretations ever recorded. Jungr has performed this material internationally, from major European venues to prestigious stages in the United States, including New York’s Lincoln Center.
Combining distinctive vocals, masterful musicianship and dramatic insight, Barb Jungr offers a compelling and revelatory exploration of Dylan’s songwriting, presented by an artist uniquely equipped to bring his work to life. It’s an honour to have her join us for Folk Week 2026.
