Lisa Knapp and Gerry Diver are a Manchester-based, life-and-music duo known for blending traditional English/Irish folk with innovative, contemporary production. Knapp, recognized for her distinctive voice and songwriting, achieved acclaim with her debut Wild & Undaunted (2007) and Till April is Dead (2017). Diver, a multi-instrumentalist producer known for his “Speech Project,” has worked with artists like Shane MacGowan. Together, they released the critically praised 2025 album Hinterland, featuring atmospheric arrangements, field recordings, and electronica.
