Rejigged Ceilidh Band

Rejigged Ceilidh Band goes out as a 6-piece Scots Ceilidh band Based in East Kent serving Kent and the Southeast including the near continent. The line-up consists of musicians from: Alan on Flute; Chris on accordion; Sue on bass; Philippa on second accordion, Mike on fiddle; Edward on second fiddle and David on Piano.  They play music from around the UK including American Folk but have a particular speciality playing Celtic music for Dance. Then of course we have our caller, Clare. Clare has played the fiddle and danced from the age of 7 with a mixture of folk and classical training. She played in her family band for many years and learned to call from her parents. Now she calls regularly for ReJigged Ceilidh Band and occasionally for other bands. She’s a qualified music teacher and leads Cranbrook Symphony Orchestra.  She has always loved singing and now sings and plays fiddle and viola with Mortlake, a medieval influenced folk band who perform mostly around Kent, but also at the New Forest Folk Festival last year. Halsway Manor has been a very happy part of her life with her parents and children. She’s delighted to be part of the Late Easter Party hosting team, especially as she so loves to party! She’s been a music tutor and performer at Broadstairs Folk Festival for the last few years and thrilled to be calling for ReJigged this year.
