Roswell Road
Roswell Road is a joyful, harmony-obsessed Americana duo from London, UK, and the project of Zoë Wren and Jasmine Watkiss. Zoë and Jasmine launched Roswell Road after a chance meeting through a mutual friend led to them being forced to sing together in the very public setting of Ely Market Square. The musical chemistry was instantaneous and they’ve been singing and writing songs together ever since.
Roswell Road’s multi-instrumental harmony-infused sound has been likened to First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls. Winning Purbeck Rising in their first year as a band, Roswell Road’s first release earned the title of Fatea EP of the Year, and the duo went on to be named winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Competition.
In 2024 the duo toured in Germany and France, and appeared at Costa Festival Ibiza. This year, fresh from showcases at Your Roots Are Showing in Ireland and Folk Alliance International in
Montreal, Roswell Road is currently working on their debut album with acclaimed producers and songwriters The Dunwells. The album will feature their signature candid songwriting on themes from mental health and sibling love to real-life activist adventures at sea.
