The Marsh Family is a musical family group of six based in Faversham, Kent, who found a worldwide audience after first going viral during the pandemic, when the two parents and four kids featured on the BBC’s Comic Relief live show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Versatile, earthy, and independent, their music covers a range of genres and topics – bringing a distinctive mix of heart, humour, and hope.
Their rich vocal harmonies are a consistent feature, while the instruments switch around (guitar, bass, cornet, piano, violin, clarinet, mandolin, ukelele). Expect a set that includes some classics from the folk and folk-rock genre, some twists on contemporary tracks and events, and a handful of original songs from their growing portfolio – already recognised by Fatea Magazine and played on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Kent, as The Marsh Family work towards a debut album in 2025 after the release of ‘Bubbles’ – their first EP – in 2024.
