Appalachian Clog Dance Workshop

Kay Anderson and Josie Anstee have a passion for dancing and performing in the Appalachian Style.
Suitable for all levels, this workshop will teach you basic percussive steps and you will learn a routine (try to wear smooth, hard soled shoes or tap shoes)
They have taught clogging at BFW since 2002 and can be seen dancing around the festival. They believe in having fun and ‘dancing the tune’ to Graham’s infectious Claw Hammer Banjo. Graham has taught Banjo in Kent for the last 30 years as well as playing for Cloggers, Appalachian dance teachers and Morris Dancers.
