Ash Mukherjee is a visionary artist whose work redefines the boundaries between classical Indian dance, contemporary theatre, and screen. Hailed by Dance Europe Magazine as one of the finest Indian classical dancers of his generation, he was invited to duet with Michael Jackson for This Is It! at London’s O2 Arena. Later, he created a televised solo with Lavelle Smith Jr. for BBC Three, blending Bharatanatyam with Man in the Mirror, broadcast to over three million viewers. His choreography spans So You Think You Can Dance (BBC), Katie Melua’s The Flood, and musical theatre works including Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train and Welcome to Serene for British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT).
As Movement Director for the Citizens of the World Refugee Choir, Ash performed at Buckingham Palace for HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and on Glastonbury’s Main Stage. His screen roles include The Eternals, House of the Dragon, and Will.
